India is looking at east. Indian new age IT and BPO top honchos want these twe countries to come together and rock the outsourcing world. Mr. Serngupta, the head of economic policy division of Confederation of Indian Investors (CII) echoes similar concern in Delhi at a meeting with ASEAN media. These two superpowers (in BPO that is) the official feels should not compete with each other (when the world is monopolistic, and you don’t know who invests where, you never know the purity of competition in any way) rather go hand in hand in manpower outsourcing regarding IT and communication technology.
Demand dynamics are purely market driven and I wonder what role government sponsored (and salaried) bodies play on that. I hope hardcore professional corporates embrace their consulting seriously.
