ING to outsource 200 mln euro contract to LogicaCMG

After receiving green signal from the labor unions (that's quite a feat, am sure the acquisition chief executives of the bank will be in great demand worldwide in the coming months…in consultancy…that is) the Dutch banking major ING is all set to outsource certain software application management, testing activities, IT maintenance and other services to LogicaCMG. LogicaCMG is a European BPO service provider with presence in countries like Philippines, Belgium, Sweden, Slovakia, India, Morocco, Portugal, Morocco and Czech Republic. It's been in Philippines since 1993 and implementing ATM switch network for the bank of Philippines Islands.

 

ING has awarded LogicaCMG a six year, 200 million Euro outsourcing contract. More than 300 of ING's staff will move to LogicaCMG. The project will start from Jan 1, 2007.
