Let’s get a clear picture on the outsourcing scenario. What do you think accounts for bigger business pie, business process outsourcing (BPO) or information technology outsourcing? A report from Nelson Hill, UK based Research Company has revealed that in the last nine months IT outsourcing has contributed 62%, whereas bpo stands for 38%. The sectors, which have remained constant, are financial services and governmental while HR and accounting outsourcing is gaining momentum.
One segment however is not actively participating in the game. SMEs or small and medium enterprise sector only makes up less than 10% of the total BPO market.
