While Tata Steel to bypass Brazilian steelmaker CSN is sweetening its offer to Anglo-Dutch steelmaker Corus, its sister concern Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) without much ado and noise has finalized a multi million outsourcing contract with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). TCS will take care of IMF’s back office and transaction processing work and will set up an entire new wing for the organization. TCS will also technically deliver service to IMF as it is to develop an Internet protocol based network.
Both the parties have reached the final stage of the negotiations and the deal can be expected in the next week or so, informed official source. However, TCS spokesperson declined to reveal the original worth of the deal.
