Accentia Technologies Ltd has declared that it is on the lookout for acquisition of BPO companies in Health Care Space especially in medical transcription segment. The company seems to be pretty aggressive on its expansion cum acquisition drive and has allocated US$ 12 million (is that a ready cash or come in phases?) for takeover in India, the UK, and the US. The US$ five million company already have bought Geosoft Technologies Ltd at the beginning of this year at Trivandrum, India. It has also set up another outsourcing establishment in Pennsylvania, Thiruvanathapurarn (India) and London.
The outsourcing unit broadly covers IT industries with special emphasis on services like transcription, coding, insurance claim processing, medical billing, consultancy services etc.
