
I am not sure whether we can term the trend as 'new face of BPO' or not but when you get the desired result you bloody care for terminologies. Eircom is an Irish fixed line telecommunication service provider that wanted to establish a brand foothold in the UK market along with sales pipeline. It has outsourced its outbound sales process to SCi, a UK firm last February to provide a flexible, highly skilled sales function. The result is promising, SCi made in excess of 5000 company touches and created a total of 94 potential opportunities.
This new phenomenon of sales outsourcing is gaining momentum in UK. Don't ask about US, it was a standard practice there. UKites, get ready to embrace more cold sales calls on your receiver. Sometimes they do bring good deals though.
