US, do math first, it’s a building block: Azim Premzi
Otherwise calm and extremely earthy Azim Premzi, the chairman of Wipro Technology, India lost his patience when asked about if outsourcing was stealing high-end technology jobs to India. The Indian who has rewritten the rules of global software services market promptly (and irated too) replied, “You (Americans) need more emphasis on mathematics in school…It's a building block.”

The 61 year old billionaire was visiting Silicon Valley also felt that the skilled worker shortage is much more in the US than India. And out of 100,000 engineers that US produces in a year, an increasingly less number actually opt for information technology as their domain.
