Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. or ACS, the IT and BPO service provider is about to host the inaugural meeting of the Dallas Area Chapter of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). The intention of the event is to promote continued innovation in the growing outsourcing and information technology industry. The keynote address will be delivered by Atul Vashistha, CEO of outsourcing firm, neoIT. Speaking on the event ACS President and CEO Lynn Blodgett asserts that the entire industry was founded first on the basic principle of innovation. (I have doubts here, outsourcing I thought runs more on mills, more the creativity that is).
