Capgemini, one of the world's premier providers of consulting, technology, and outsourcing services has bagged an outsourcing contract from Kemira Oyj, a Finnish chemicals group. The value of the contract is not declared but in its media report Cap Gemini says that it would undertake responsibility for Kemira's IT infrastructure services and the support services provided for Kemira's SAP system. It will also provide global maintenance and development services for workstations and other infrastructure, as well as support for the SAP system. The agreement is initially valid for five years.

 

To be on the safer side Cap Gemini has publicly declared that the contract does not involve any job cut or employee transfer.
