Canadian and Chinese high-tech companies now want to get most out of each other. Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) feels this bilateral process will spruce up growth in Canada's IT sector. It is also felt that the process can accelerate the pace of some research and development jobs leaving for China and other nations. One of China's heavyweights Shenyang Neusoft Company Ltd. which employs more than 10,000 workers signed an exclusive agreement with CATA. Positive remarks have arrived from different quarters also. The industry lobby group is visibly happy with the way things are going and has called the memorandum a "mutually beneficial partnership."
