WM-data, sister concern of LogicaCMG company has made formal announcement of bagging an outsourcing contract from Volvo Car Corporation. This is not the first time, the firm in 2002 also undertook outsourced operations and support services to from Volvo. WM-data will develop, implement and support Volvo Cars' global client and server platform for about 17,000 clients based in Sweden and national sales companies who spread across the rest of Europe. Volvo Car intends to focus on its core business of manufacturing and sourcing.

To deliver more efficient and robust IT environment for Volvo Car, WM-data has already deployed new set of services to support the virtualization, consolidation and monitoring of the servers.
