Firms benefit from increased outsourcing competition
Business houses are experiencing that outsourcing processes are becoming cheaper and more flexible. The last quarter trend of 2005 shows that clients are rejecting long and rigid contracts and preferring shorter service agreements delivered by specialized providers. 2006, for example, has seen record numbers of contracts being signed in 2006. Compared to 2005's 341 agreements a total of 350 agreements are signed in 2006. Business houses are now demanding more values from the contracts. Its not astonishing that the last quarter of 2006 saw firms signing the cheapest contracts of any final quarter in five years. The number of service providers winning contracts has increased by good 64% in the last four years, says one research firm.
