Technology services and solutions company Unisys announced a deal with Iux-Airport. Iux-Airport which undertakes the new airport terminal in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg scheduled for 2008 opening has awarded Unisys a five year outsourcing contract. Unisys, renowned for its expertise in consulting, systems integration, outsourcing, infrastructure and server technology will under this contract build and manage complete IT infrastructure to support the Luxembourg Airport operations. The IT infrastructure implemented by Unisys will make the operations more secured and enable the travelers to go through it with ease. The scope of the contract includes implementation of the network, the Airport database, Stand & Gate allocation, flight information Display systems and the entire back office, with integrated data delivered in real time.
