The market seems to be big if you believe the estimate given by Forrester Research. It says the current annual value of legal outsourcing which stands at $80 million now may scale up to $4 billion by 2015. No wonder Indian companies will definitely like to get a share out of it.
To mark its foray into the legal process outsourcing sector, Hinduja TMT (HTMT) has inked a deal with UK-based business consulting firm Centric, to form a joint venture in association with law firm Fox Mandal Little. The JV company yet unnamed, but likely to be called Centric LPO will deliver legal outsourcing services to MNCs and international law firms. Subsidiary of HTMT, this newly formed company while shaping the company's onshore delivery capabilities across the world will try to tap the burgeoning Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) contracts.
Hinduja TMT CEO Partha Sarkar said, "Our tie-up with Centric will further strengthen our capabilities in the knowledge process outsourcing area and help us to explore new opportunities in US and UK, the top primary markets for LPO,"
