
Hewlett-Packard is all set to bag a contract to conduct due diligence for enterprise computing for FMCG major Unilever. Unilever which has been signing many outsourcing contracts on different verticals since December 2005 will ask HP to undertake works on server and database management, data center operations and application hosting for its operations spread across America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Turkey. The deal is supposed to be signed sometime first half of this year.
Unilever, one of the world’s biggest FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) producer has some of the world’s best known and most loved brands (includes 12 €1 billion brands) such as Hellmann’s, Flora, Knorr, Lynx, Persil, Dove, Marmite, Domestos and Pot Noodle.
