If off shoring of manufacturing jobs does not make news any more (I mean it seems like if General Motors or DaimlerChrysler move all their job to China people wont be astonished, such is the mayhem outsourcing created amongst people's mind) legal outsourcing will surely do. Wilmington, Del.-based DuPont Co. Oracle, Cisco and General Electric are all trimming their legal costs and getting ready to work with lawyers from Indian and China.

 

Compared to legal outsourcing industry which is worth $225 billion the legal offshoring industry is very miniscule and considered to be in the range of $60 million to $80 million. However, Crisil Research and Information Services believes that it has the potential to grow to $4.7 billion by 2012 in India alone.
