Indian IT outsourcing market shown good result in Q4

The fourth quarter of 2006 saw a bit decline in outsourcing deals, though not a big dip but somewhat down. India however continues to show robust growth even at the end of the year. Companies like Infosys, TCS and Wipro bent the overall declining trend of outsourcing and posted a jump over 14 times in the past four years. The Big six of the outsourcing world, IBM, Accenture, ACS, HP, CSC and EDS declined to 46 percent in 2006 from 71 percent in 2002. And in comparison to this the market share of India-based providers has risen to 7 percent in 2006, from less than 0.5 percent in 2002.
