Yes, India holds the number 1 position in the outsourcing world, but the question is will it be able to hold onto its position for long. Can it emerge out as winner in the next wave of outsourcing too? Indian outsourcing industry is expected to reach $64 billion by 2012, I don’t know if that sounds too optimistic. But looking at the prevailing infrastructure it seems like a tuff thing. Be it electrical, water or transportation, India can not claim its basic infrastructure matches up to world standard. I sincerely feel poor infrastructure will make its presence felt in the coming days.
