Outsourcing of dental works to India. I first laughed out at it when someone from Bangalore informed me casually over messenger, I cracked couple of jokes about it and that’s it. But when I stumbled upon this news today I kind of opened my eyes and seriously took a note of that. Though I am still to believe that dental tourism will bring in $50 million to India in the next five years, but seems like some efforts have already been started. Looking at the opportunity Pfizer has initiated a three-day seminar called India-International Dental Congress (IIDC) in Mumbai. The seminar, supposedly first of its kind and also supposedly witnessed tremendous response from over 750 registered participants, not only from India but US, EU as well.
