At least 75% of the companies actually don’t know the real cost of outsourcing. This amazing revelation comes from KPMG’s latest survey, which also has found out that 50% of companies take more than six months to zero in on outsourcing provider. And for good 30% the gestation period is much longer, it is more than 9 months to be specific.
I thought the best of business practice preachers know quantitatively (if not qualitatively) exactly what comes in and what goes out, the gains and the losses on the real, nominal and personal accounts. Its really surprising that most of the companies have no clue about the cost that they themselves are incurring over outsourcing.
