America possesses the sharpest of engineers and scientists, but the respect towards these kinds of jobs is fast evaporating. Young Americans (add to the European Unions also) and do not want to become scientist or engineer any more. America’s recent abysmal score on maths and science only reinforces the fact. Kids now want to become attorneys or physicians or investment bankers. Information technology colleges facing serious problems, first they do not find enough students and the stuff they get anyway are poor in maths and science. There is a mass belief that India and China will anyway get away with all the lucrative assignments.  

HIB and Outsourcing is killing American dream. It is depressing the salaries of qualified scientists and engineers sharply. That in turn is depressing the desire of young people to science and engineering.
