As expected, IT services firm Acxiom has upgraded its IT outsourcing contract with Safety-Kleen. Under the agreement Acxiom will keep on delivering US cleaning and environmental solutions provider Acxiom with information technology outsourcing services even after the first three-year agreement gets over. Marty Sunde, Acxiom's multi-industry client services leader feels that their IT delivery model will significantly aid Safety-Kleen lessen IT management costs across their enterprise applications and will also facilitate more flexibility in the existing systems management and application infrastructure. Safety-Kleen's CIO Magnus Borg is a happy man because his firm has gained up to 78 of the firm's servers which were earlier managed by another firm.
