
The Service and Food Workers Union is accusing the airline of offering baggage handlers and check in staff what amounts to a $3,000 bribe if they agree to cuts in their pay and conditions
Its no secret that couple of years ago the management failed to take an outsourcing of airport services decision because it did not have power over industrial action in a key part of the business. Air New Zealand wanted to ship approximately 1700 check in workers to Swissport, a Spanish company.
