Apogen Technologies has clinched a two-year, $5.4 million renewal from the The U.S. Department of Treasury and Apogen Technologies set to keep on delivering operations and other maintenance services to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). According to the contract, Federal Solutions Group from Aprogen will deliver the Virginia based technology solutions provider with services like supporting the entire network system and system operations, help desk, customer support and troubleshoot ticket management. Apogen will also redesign the chief counsel’s intranet division.
Previously as per the contract, Apogen used to manage the chief counsel’s entire information technology system and also has delivered operations continuity which followed a unexpected flood previous summer in the IRS’ downtown offices. This has made the agency employees to transit into make shift quarters in Crystal City
