Big brands outsource their core/non core work to mammoth outsourcing centers offshore. Taking a cue from and gauging a vacuum in the market this Tempe-based firm, actually a start up J-Curve Technologies proposes its services to small and medium enterprises. It intends to charge a monthly fee on the call volume etc.
The report however does not mention whether it will broadly charge its clients only on call volumes or log in hours etc. Its understood that small firms with not so huge customer service requirements do not get providers like IBM, EDS or WNS. This results in in-house not so equipped employees take the calls from irated/dissatisfied customers and thus does not score an a-one service satisfaction matrix. Also, there also lie the risk of getting a core guy asking to do a non-core help desk jobs.
