Hewitt Associates, the human resource outsourcing company has chalked off 14 Charlotte employees since the first day of this year. Hewitt does pay roll and other transaction processing work for companies such as Charlotte's Wachovia Corp. and Duke Energy Corp. Aren’t the sacked employees delivering good you may wonder because spokeswoman Jennifer Frighetto comes up with this answer.

Hewitt employs more than 850 employees in Charlotte. Two years ago Hewitt gobbled an $11.6 million tax incentive in the condition that it will create 900 jobs in four years. They surely will do it, but what I wonder, cant they transfer those 14 employees to other departments?
