
The international consulting firm Capgemini has opened an IT outsourcing centre in Katowice, Poland. The investment for the firm is expected to be €2.3 million. The new facility which will house 135 headcounts for now (later will be risen to 410) will be located in Katowice Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

The centre will deliver plethora of outsourcing services while covering IT infrastructure management, help desk and monitoring of multi tire IT system operations. Capgemini is one of the heavyweights in the consulting domain specializes in the provision of IT, outsourcing services and integrated consulting. It has more than 300 offices across 30 countries. Its workforce around the countries count more than 75,000.
This is not the first time that Capgemini goes to Poland. Ithas been in the country since 1996. It employs more 2,000 specialists in there.
