The deal was big, a lot was in stake for the relegated executives of Capgemini who has been clinching one after another deal in recent times from across the world. And it won convincingly the deal from Rijkswaterstaat the Dutch Directorate General for Public Works and Water Management.
It’s a 7.5 year deal estimated to be euro 230 million. The Netherlands division of Capgemini in conjunction with its partners will undertake the implementation and complete management of Rijkswaterstaat's IT infrastructure.

A complete new IT infrastructure will be build from the scratch. Add to that maintenance and creation (if I am not mistaken) server and computer oriented services.
A small part, that is managed desktop service, supply of technology and user support will be taken care of by HP.
