
Now after Premier Wen Jiabao's "ice-melting" visit to Japan it is believed that China’s ever growing software outsourcing trade with Japan will reach even greater heights. China is Japan’s biggest software outsourcing base and the country accounts for more than 60% of the country of rising sun’s software trade. One of China’s leading software outsourcing firms Dalian Hi-Think Computer Technologies (DHC) Co. Ltd which has accounts like Hitachi, Sony, Mitsubishi and NEC. DHC’s business with Japan has been growing 30% since 1996. In last financial year it exported 50 million worth software to Japan.

No wonder that in this Japan centric outsourcing boom a Japanese colony in China before World War II, Dailan became the outsourcing center of the country. Read
