NewMarket China in partnering with Shanghai ArtCoding Company to deliver outsourcing services to game development clients. Both the companies has signed a deal on that. The sharing ratio is undisclosed. On the financial ground, a bigger name in the deal, NewMarket Technology, (whose sister concern is NewMarket China) has floated an independent public listing in China and expects over US$20 million in revenue for the 2006 finacial year. For 2007, it has kept an ambitious plan ahead, a mammoth 100% increase in revenue.
Seems the games market is deep hottening. Both the companies (though seems like it will be a one sided show with NewMarket controlling most of the development and marketing action) will at first target in North America and later eventually will keep seeking customers in other parts of the globe as well.
