Whether you are fresher or experienced in the call center industry, we know there many a people actually struggle with interviews though eligibility and knowledge wise they are probably the ideal candidate for the job.
One thing that you should remember while going for a call center interview is that when you are invited to an interview you should give your best shot to ensure that the call center recruiting manger believes in you and that you make a good match for the job opening. An interview in call center like other sectors is used to determine whether you as a candidate are ideal fit for the position or not. If you are a job seeker in the call center or BPO industry one important thing that you must remember that you should make the best use of the interview to find out whether you can be successful in the available position.
Believe me, in call center interview like advertising agency you cannot afford to be totally creative. You have to be focused and no-nonsense. Remember they are not looking for next Pepsi TV commercial copywriter; they are looking for an agent who can take and make calls as per the process requirement. So, your answers to the questions by interviewer should pertain how best you suit to the profile, how best you can resolve customer dissatisfaction issues etc. Someone, who has some knowledge about client’s business and industry as a whole will be a plus.
Also sometimes interviewers check other out factors like communication power, thinkon-feet, process specific skills etc. You need to score good points on those also. I would say be focussed to your answers, neither speak much nor less and pertain to the key points.
In this site we will keep you informed about various types of interview tips like call center/contact center/BPO job interview tips, phone interview tips, employer interview tips etc. Keep reading BPOTiger.
