
eTelecare Global Solutions the first Philippine company to release an IPO and enlisted with NASDAQ has announced that it will open a mammoth size 3,000 seat call center in the country. eTelecare Global Solutions already has five call centers in Philippines and this will be its sixth contact center establishment.
eTelecare is the first Filipino firm to trade with NASDAQ. It has successfully raised $260 million in 2007. The amount is good 30% higher than eTelecare's 2006 revenue which was $195 million. Its first quarter profit was recorded $5.2 million.
eTelecare seems to be on a marketing binge, it has used American depository receipts (ADRs) to break into the U.S. stock market and is now looking to increase its profits from $12.2 million in 2006 to about $25 million for 2007.
