James Macpherson, the publisher and editor of Pasadena Now news mag has dropped the plan of outsourcing the couple of journalists from India's Mumbai and Bangalore to cover Pasadena City council meeting over the internet. Ask him why he shelved the plan which he thought was genuine and doable so strongly?

James Macpherson told media persons that he was miffed by the quantum of media reports and the attention that he had received over couple of days times.

Really, a small firm in a small city being run by two persons (James Macpherson and his wife), one data entry worker and couple of interns never would have imagined that a classified ad on Craigslist would produce this much publicity. Tell me who did not cover the news, New York Times, LA Times, Washigtonpost, Reuters, Associated Press, other news agencies, TV channels, numerous websites and blogs along with your truly.

Good for James Macpherson, no publicity is bad publicity after all.
