
Indonesia may not be a huge name in the outsourcing industry, but inside the country lot is happening over telecommunication sector. Country's call center industry is getting a direct benefit out of it. Indonesia's leading cellular phone operator PT Telkomsel is planning to double its call center capacity to 1.1 million calls a day.
Irwin Sakti, VP of the company said that the call center service is supported by an interactive voice response system which is operated by approximately 4,000 personnel. So when he claims that PT Telkomsel is the busiest call center in the country, you better believe him.

Telkomsel opened a contact center which is equipped with 136 video service access based on 3G technology. PT Telkomsel had achieved certificate in ISO 90001:2000, which is a certificate of international recognition of the company's quality standard for customer service covering call centers in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung and Medan.
