Brazil may see some big outsourcing partnerships, acquisitions happening between IT outsourcing companies by the end of 2008. Top local IT companies, which seem are on sale are CPM, Politec, Tivit, Stefanini and Neoris.
The outsourcing deals till now have not been of great value in Brazil like US and Europe. But as the finance and manufacturing markets are going full swing and global big outsourcing spenders like GE and Citigroup are going to establish offices in the country (some of the biggies already have set up shops) the deals, it seems, will not be as small as before.
Indian companies have recently set up centers in countries like China and Philippines and Eastern Europe but for Brazil, other than TCS no one has shown any interest.
