
It seems that good managers or team leaders in the burgeoning outsourcing and call center industry are few and far between. Though there are many, more than hundreds (the agent level) in a single process at a single location vie for that elusive managerial or team lead position very few get an opportunity to climb up the ladder.
Before you strive to become one of those in your organization, before you want see yourself in that coveted position remember that management only considers those aspirants eligible (believe me all the management have a very strong feedback mechanism system in place, official or not) whom workers can relate to, abide by his decisions on crunch situations, listens to him, the one who gives them honest and constructive advice, talks to them about their future scope in the organization, discusses with them without being sound bossy how they can perform better in their role.
From my experience I have realized that only those people find success in the corporate world who have some natural instincts to lead, whom people love to follow, girls adore him, guys consider him their buddy (though there will be some who will always resent, form both the genders). Some born with natural talent, some learn the art.
