If you are not fully in tune with latest outsourcing lingo, let me tell you, a new word has been invented, its called PPO or person to person outsourcing. Take my word, next along with other outsourcing debates, PPO is slated to take a lot of space in print, electronic and online media.
What is PPO? PPO basically is outsourcing at grass root level, outsourcing that happens for masses, a business to consumer or B2C concept. No high voltage big multinational names are involved, PPO is kind of “offshoring that is beginning to go mainstream and is touching the upper class and working class alike,” says chairman of Evalueserve.
small offices, home businesses and even individuals are utilizing PPO services everyday through various means such as online tutoring and home & landscape design services. Even invitation cards for weddings and other parties, personal assistant secretarial services like scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars are now being outsourced.
