A new turn in the Fine Gael story… Fine Gael is now accusing the Government as it completely fails to take any preventive action from outsourcing jobs to cheap countries like India, China, Philippines, Irlenad etc, Fine Gael fears that if the trend can not be stopped the Xerox acuqisation will take away jobs from 900 employees in the Blanchardstown area of Dublin. First it was told to the displaced employees that IBM will absorb them and will employ them in some other profile. But now IBM is taking a U turn and is not showing any intention to use them in their plant.
The jobs are supposed to be outsourced to computer giant IBM. IBM says it will move the function some place in Europe, not in India.
Whatever may Fine Gael say, the government can not play any mandatory rules in there.
