During telephone or phone interview, you may not look perfect, you may not wear the tie with perfect knot, but what you should always remember that, there are some mistakes, deadly mistakes rather, which you should not do at any cost.

•    Don't smoke or eat or drink or chew gum during the conversation.  
•    In case the interview is running long, you may take permission of interviewer for a glass of water.
•    Don’t sound like a sad man, since you are not sitting across the table it does not mean he/she can’t see you if you are frowning big time. Be your normal self.
•    Do not make your voice sound sad. It actually shows.
•    Smile a lot, smile actually portrays you as a positive person.
•    Even if you are excited or you know the answer well, do not try to talk fast and land yourself in no-point-of-return like situation. Speak slowly and comfortably. And off course with confidence.
