Outsourcing firm TeleTech Holdings Inc is going to set up a call center in Amherst. It is expected to fill 450 positions for the purpose. TeleTech is hiring both part time and full time positions as of now. In addition to customer service, TeleTech which has centers in 18 countries also provides plethora of services in areas like database marketing, finance and ecommerce.
Employees will be given three weeks of product training. The 46,000 sqaure foot building where the center is set up now used to be Lisn Co’s property before.
There is some mystery involved with the client that they aregoing to servce. The name has not been disclosed as of yet. But TeleTecfh claims that it is one of the prestigious Fortune 50 clients which deals in health care products. Hmm….
