Hmm...there have been whispers about the dismal power supply and alternate arrangements in Philippines and that outsourcing and call centers have to arrange their back up power supply by their own as Government is not equipped enough to help them out. The whispers have come to the front now as one call center (the name of the call center is not being disclosed to the media men understandably why) is threatening to withdraw its set up even before putting up the office properly.
The mayor of the city, City Hall himself has come out to mediate between the call center spokesperson and owner of the building where the call center is supposed to be operating from.
From The News Today:
Treñas said the call center could provide 600 additional jobs for city residents and this opportunity would be lost if the call center withdraws its business proposal.
Treñas said the call center wants a stable supply of power as soon as it starts operation. The stable power supply in the city is the primary concern of call centers that want to invest in the city.

Iloilo city is not even close to the main site for most outsourcing/bpo offices in the Philippines. I suggest you do your research first.
