Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking beyond traditional financial services, telecom and manufacturing industries to drive its next set of growth line. Congnizant, one of the top ten software service solution providers of India is looking at sectors like pharmaceutical, health care and media/entertainment sectors for expansion.
Does that mean a new wave of outsourcing is set to begin in the non traditional sectors?
According to an Evalueserve survey report bio-pharmaceutical services and contract research organizations will be a $2.5 billion opportunity in the next three four years. What's more, data management and analytics also will be another $2.5 billion market in the same period. Add to that services like publishing, remote education and market research which will stand for not less than will offer a 1.5 billion opportunity.
