
There is an unique thing about Latino speakers. Latin Americans who have settle in US and can speak very good English, while conducting day to day interactions with banks, customer representatives or insurance providers, however pref
er to speak in their native language. So, no wonder that the Latin American Call Center industry is hugely growing with the US Hispanic population. According to research firm Datamonitor, the population is now estimated at 44 million. According to US Census Bureau there would be more than 102 million Hispanics in US by 2050.
The research firm also predicts that Latin American near shore countries will benefit from this trend. It is believed that call center jobs in Latin America will increase by 190,000 in 2010. It was 104,000 in 2005.
