One of the most beautiful, original yet effective sentences on outsourcing, I read on IHT.
Many executives in India now concede that outsourcing, having rained most heavily on India, will increasingly sprinkle tasks across the planet.
Ok, forget the literary beauty, in fact Indian companies have started doing the practice. Partly because the wages in the country was going up and up, attrition issues were always there and on top of that there were competitions from countries seeking to emulate its success as a back office for wealthier neighbors: China for Japan, Morocco for France and Mexico for the United States, for instance.
To check that, Indian software companies have started setting up offices in different countries, get trained and experienced employees from across the world, train them (mostly in India for few months) and then pack them to the on site center.
Outsourcing of outsourcing.
