
In a move to penetrate the BFSI market in US, Software house 3i Infotech has acquired US based J&B Software and its subsidiaries for $25.25 million. J&B Software delivers products and services pertaining to remittance processing in the US of A.
The acquisition will enable 3i to cross sell its slew of products and services to J&B’s exisiting blue-chip BFSI customers. 3I also have extensive business development plans.
3i Infotech, formerly an arm of India's biggest private banking company ICICI has acquired 25 companies since 2000. Unlike their competitors, 3i acquired small but strategic players. The focus has always been to acquire new market established products and get access to newer geographic.
