Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) worker's union president John Julien has alleged that a lot of customer service, call center jobs are being to sent to India. He also said that the company is also planning to replace permanent workers with contract workers and more than 200 workers may lose their jobs. It is believed that, a go-ahead was given from the company management on the issues.

But as of now nothing is being informed from the management. TSTT HR manager said not a single workers has been sacked nor been issued resignation letter.

However, he agreed that for the new broadband service from the company, Blink, India has been chosen destination for the call center service.
