
How do you define something intangible like power? The answer is, power is what power does. To have a grand title is one thing, to actually do something that amplifies the power of the position is another. Ergo, Forbes defined power as influence over industry, the ability to change the rules of the game, or a distinction that is unique.
What's sad is, how the list is dished out by some segments of media. Isnt the list about women entrepreneurship and their empowerment as more than mere Barbie Doll
better halves of the society. But still you will find people write about Oprah Winfrey, who is eighth in the list ahead of everyone. Because she is from entertainment industry? Aren't we supposed to talk about breaking stereotyping? That's the way (through media) probably we will we have to perceive women's impressive gains in corporate America.
