Biotechnology companies of all sizes are increasingly embracing outsourcing as tool to get manufacturing projects done in far off countries. While outsourcing tasks like regulatory filing, molecular genetics and preclinical testing, bio
tech companies are concentrating harder on the core functions. For smaller companies, outsourcing is a boon, because the process helps them save resources like finance, manpower etc and spends/bypasses resources on critical production process, which were non-existent before. One such processes is manufacturing new drugs for clinical trials, where enactng an suitable set up is a costly risk to tackle before FDA approval is obtained.
