Rizwanur Rahman and Priyanka Todi got married without Priyanka's father Ashoke Todi's conset, compared to lower middle class Rizwanur Rahman, Ashok Todi is a rich man who owns Lux Hosiery Company. Kolkata (Calcutta) Police harassed Rizwanur Rahman and alleged him of abducting 25 year old Priyanka, they even overlooked the couple's legal marriage certificate. Rizwanur Rahman told his friends and human rights commissions that he received life threat calls on his mobile phone. Mysteriosuly Rizwanur Rahman was found dead on Sep 21 by the side of a railway track with his head smashed. Over the last few days Rizwanur's father-in-law, Ashok Todi, and some senior police officers in West Bengal have been in the eye of a storm for allegedly intimidating the youth to opt out of his marriage with Priyanka. 
Embarrassed of the incident West Bengal Chief Minister has raised questions against Kolkata (Calcutta) Police Commissioner Prasun Mukherjee. Prasun Mukherjee earlier when asked by journalists whether Polcie should poke its nose in two adult person's marriage said that Police has every right to settle problems between to consensus adult marriage couple, Police has done that ealirer and will do such act in future.
West Bengal Chief Minister has informed media that concerned cops will face the legalities. He will wait for court orders to take action. Today CID has interrogated Deputy Commissioner Gyanwant Singh and DC Ajay Kumar.
I have seen your programme we the people from Kolkatta on inter religion marriage. You have forgot one aspect and that is classified the society on food habits . vegetarian
and Non vegetarian. For me my religion is vegetarianism and it will be difficult for children to adopt different food habit after marriage so I prefer marrying my children to marry a spouse of same religion i.e food habits.
