
According to the latest study from Forrester Research IT outsourcing deals in Europe and EMEA jumped up by a whopping £700 million in the second quarter of 2007. United Kingdom is spending most amongst the lot. The study from Forrester Research has found out that UK-based companies have closed 36 percent of
all EMEA signed deals, which would value nearly £1.4 billion. The research focussed on IT outsourcing "mega-deals" worth over €10 million (£6.98 million), from 25 IT service providers active during this period.
Results found that 84 deals in total were closed in EMEA during the second quarter worth over €5.4 (£3.8 million), which is 19 more deals than in the same period last year. Source
